Soft Surroundings is searching for a Digital Marketing & Paid Media Manager. This role will develop, manage and optimize programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention and loyalty across Soft Surroundings digital channels.

The ideal candidate for this position will be equally analytical and creative, relying on data and testing to identify new ways to acquire, engage, retain and build loyalty with customers through paid channels, email and onsite.

This digital leader will:

  • Provide strategic oversight and steward digital campaigns across paid social, programmatic and influencers, etc.
  • Build and lead the customer journeys by leading the strategic planning, execution and analysis, working with stakeholders across marketing, technology, editorial and project management to define both content-driven and journey-driven communications by segment.
  • Own the digital retention CRM strategy end to end -- analyzing and interpreting data to increase LTV and reduce churn and also offer insights and segmentation recommendations for new customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and steward digital campaigns across paid social, programmatic and influencers, etc.
  • Develop campaign media briefs and present to agencies/internal partner teams
  • Partner with Creative team to ensure media and creative strategy are tightly aligned; provide input and feedback on campaign creative that adheres to channel best practices and aligns with campaign objectives
  • Work with Marketing, Creative and Agency teams to drive paid media strategy from briefing through to measuring performance to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies
  • Plan, implement, optimize CRM strategies across multiple marketing channels, driving engagement, retention, loyalty, effective saves and winback strategies
  • Help manage the media agency with execution of paid media strategies
  • Partner with Analytics to extract and analyze insights from customer data to uncover areas of opportunity that will optimize lifecycle journeys.
  • Recommend segmentation, targeting, lifetime value, and personalization tactics to improve engagement and maximize marketing return on investment.
  • Develop messaging and creative by segment and channel.
  • Plan and support ongoing testing to ensure continued innovation.
  • Identify new strategies to drive growth from existing customers.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, email performance and business trends.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years in a data driven, CRM powered digital marketing role
  • Experience leveraging customer segmentation and customer journeys to deliver personalization.
  • Experience with Attribution models.
  • Familiar with CRM technology including ESPs and segmentation tools.
  • Understanding of AB testing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment of multiple priorities, executing in the short term while developing long-term strategies
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
