 Here are the details:

Soft Surroundings, at our corporate office in St. Louis, MO is seeking a National Training Coordinator for Beauty & Well-Being. The National Training Coordinator will be responsible for the growth of beauty sales across the organization through training and development of retail personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain product knowledge library of core beauty products.
  • Create and deliver product knowledge and customer service training for all newly launched products.
  • Collaborate with beauty and well-being vendors to ensure continuity between their training efforts and ours.
  • Facilitate training experiences across varying formats including in-person, in-store, workshop, webinar and/or recorded video broadcast to store associates and members of field management teams.
  • Create and present training strategies to support business objectives that address the gap in performance or service behaviors.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor as a beauty and well-being subject matter expert with merchant teams, inventory planning and allocation teams, retail operations, and visual merchandising counterparts.
  • Positioned as an ambassador for beauty and well-being for the Soft Surroundings brand to participate in both public and private events.
  • Identify, develop and serve as an advocate for top tiered Beauty Managers for advanced opportunities.
  • Reduce turnover while increasing productivity per store associate through Beauty training.
  • Reconcile travel and miscellaneous expenses weekly.
  • Travel up to 50% locally, regionally and nationally as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of sales management and training experience in skincare, cosmetics or beauty industry.
  • Knowledge of skincare, cosmetics or beauty products required.
  • Strong business acumen/analysis
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Instructional design and content facilitation experience required.
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop preferred
